About Mike Walton

Mike has over 25 years of experience in business ownership that includes start-ups, turnarounds, acquisition and sale of companies in the media and IT industries.  He has owned, operated and sold radio stations and newspapers throughout the Midwest and upstate New York.  He has owned a technology services firm specializing in managed IT services and cybersecurity.

Mike understands what it takes to successfully transfer ownership of a business. He knows what it’s like to sit on the buy-side and sell-side of a transaction.  He specializes in establishing strategies for maximizing enterprise value and positioning a company for a sale to a synergistic buyer.  He brings real life experience, which provides valuable insight into the complexities and process of negotiations required to successfully complete business transactions.

Mike holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Marquette University.
