Burt Evans

Hello, I have over 30 years of corporate and personal business ownership experience that includes accounting, retail operations, and negotiating leases with major national developers. I, also, have a specific expertise in developing solutions to the unique challenges presented in operating companies having multiple locations.

I am a CPA and obtained an MBA from Indiana University. I began my career with a “Big Eight” accounting firm in Chicago and followed that with seven years as the Controller of a large restaurant chain.

Prior to Sun Acquisitions, most of my career was spent founding, operating and selling a 12-store retail chain which was a leader in its industry category. I have experience in all aspects of running my own business. My entrepreneurial experience enables myself to bring passion and empathy to the process of assisting owners in the sale of their businesses. In selling one of my own businesses, I retained a business broker to assist in the transition. All of these experiences have given me a unique perspective into the concerns of business owners.
