Sun Acquisitions was engaged to represent EDMS & Associates in its acquisition of two synergistic business services companies in the Greater Chicago Area.  Sun Acquisitions was engaged to manage all aspects of the acquisition process including the research, target search, financial analysis, negotiation and deal structure, and closing coordination.

EDMS & Associates engaged Sun Acquisitions because it was seeking to acquire a platform company in the growing business and residential security segment. Sun Acquisitions managed all aspects of the acquisition process including the research, target search, financial analysis, advising on deal structures, and introducing the ancillary advisors at the appropriate time to complete the legal and accounting aspects of the deal.

The search targeted business services companies in the Greater Chicago Area. The client ultimately acquired one commercial and residential security systems sales and service business and another entertainment systems sales and services segment. Both companies were uncovered during the search and Sun Acquisitions was able to identify to the client their synergies.
